While the main focus of the workshop is plastering and plaster prep, there will be some opportunity to try other natural building processes. There will be daily instructionals covering a wide range of natural building-related subjects from the ground up, and tours of local structures built with or incorporating natural materials in a variety of ways.
All genders welcome.
Payment plan available.
No experience necessary. Comfort with scaffolding and heights is an asset (but not necessary).
The property is a thriving land cooperative with plenty of mossy forest, sandstone rubble, a short trail to sunset and mountain views, with lake and ocean access nearby.
Denman, also known as Inner Island (Taystay'ich), is traditional Pentlach, K’omox, Sliammon and Kwakwaka’wakw territory.
