Join us in plastering and finishing a home made with natural and local materials. While the main focus of the workshop is plastering and plaster prep, there will be some opportunity to try other natural building processes. There will be daily instructionals covering a wide range of natural building-related subjects from the ground up, and tours of local structures built with or incorporating natural materials in a variety of ways.

All genders welcome.

Payment plan available.

No experience necessary. Comfort with scaffolding and heights is an asset (but not necessary).

The property is a thriving land cooperative with plenty of mossy forest, sandstone rubble, a short trail to sunset and mountain views, with lake and ocean access nearby.

Denman, also known as Inner Island (Taystay'ich), is traditional Pentlach, K’omox, Sliammon and Kwakwaka’wakw territory.

A bunch of happy slip-sloppers on the Sunshine Coast!
