FINISH PLASTER WALLS & FLOOR. PLUS COB BENCH
Location:Hat Creek, Secwepmc BC
June 22-26th 2026
For the 5th year in a row the Mudgirls head back up to Melawmen Flats to put the final touches to this little load bearing cob shelter. We will be putting on the finishing layers of plaster on the inside, and laying the top coat of the earthen floor. Participants will also be building a cob bench and/or possibly an oven to create an outdoor gathering for the Morgan family and friends to make music and connect. This event offers a unique opportunity to join with like minded people, build and create community.
Folks will have the opportunity to build with local and reclaimed materials, employ sustainable design principals, and use innovative techniques that combine artistry with ecological responsibility.
Come get muddy, learn, share and have fun.
Cost is $400 for this 5 day workshop.
This includes 3 meals per day, childcare, and camping on site.
